Beer Can Jigsaw Puzzle

This beer can themed jigsaw puzzle is a fan favorite in the Beer Can Museum. We hope you enjoy it, too. It's one of two puzzles that occupy space in the great hall of the museum.

We've grown to over 5000 cans at the museum, but often it's the breweriana like this that starts some interesting conversations among guests!

I hope you are as happy to see Spring as we are here at the Beer Can Museum & Hall of Fame!

Jackpot!

I love my old British beer cans from the 70's. Takes me back to my early collecting days when my parents would get home from a holiday in jolly old England. This particular can takes the cake - and hits the jackpot! Enjoy. And Happy Turkey Day to those of you that celebrate Thanksgiving.

The Who featured on this Schlitz breweriana

We have a longtime friend of the museum (Pete Loucks in Austin, Texas) to thank for this great piece of breweriana from the early 80's! Fans of 'The Who' and fans of 'Breweriana' should both appreciate this classic. Thanks for the donation, Pete! In the beer can museum's hallowed halls, it causes quite a big s-s-s-sensation! (get it?)

That must've been a great show!

Black Label Beer Banner ad

This new piece of breweriana gracing the museum rafters gives new meaning to the term 'banner ad'! Many thanks to the curator's brother Scott for this fine Christmas gift that will be appreciated by fans of Black Label beer.

VIP tour plus a glimpse at our official sweatshirt

Had the pleasure of giving a VIP tour to my brother, Chris, Saturday afternoon. You can see his smiling face in the picture above - and you can see a glimpse of my official curator's sweatshirt - thanks to my loving family for this great Christmas gift!

Can Openers

Wandering through some antique shops in Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts last week, I found a nice box full of old openers including some old church key models. In the beer can museum, it's always fun to place the appropriate branded opener next to an old flat top beer can that required said opener. Two of the openers shown here are domestic and one is from South America. Before pull tab cans showed up, a lot of effort went into opening our canned beers!

Postcards

My Uncle Jimmy was kind enough to donate a couple of old beer related postcards last week. This Anheuser-Busch card, featuring the Clydesdales, makes a great addition to our collection. Jimmy has hundreds of old postcards, some with mica (pre 1907), and we had fun looking through them the other day. Hope you enjoy this one!
