Will the dam hold?

Geez, Taunton has never had so much attention. You may've heard that one of our dams here in town is 'deteriorating' and could give way at any time. Schools are closed and we're on full alert here at the beer can museum. Luckily, cans float, so other than making sure the museum's library books are placed on high shelves, we're good to go. Plus, we're a good 7 or 8 miles from the evacuation zone so we're not too concerned. But here's hoping the dam holds and that everyone in town stays dry!

Speaking of the Beer Can Museum library...here is the book I use the most when responding to e-mails over the museum website's 'ask the curator' link. Great resource for collectors with values and fantastic images of many flat top and cone top beer cans. Good stuff!
